Usually its 3 types -no correct Java installed (you got 32 bit instead of 64 etc etc) -no videocard (you have integrated intel video for example) -not enough memory (game needs 4gb+ and pref most of it empty)
Yeah i remember, android ver just not in prio for now. It needs some efforts and time, currently i'm spending these to get secondary features in game mechanics (like, i'm currently working on TALK button for battle)

Universal is raw Jar file, you need to install Java64 yourself to run it properly Win version has already pre-installed Java inside so you can run it As Is.
Lets see. First go to https://www.google.com/chrome/ download it and install. Agree to change it to default browser. Finish installation, go to Itch and download game, dont go for itch app. Next you probably may need unpacking tool, like 7zip or winrar. Pretty much same steps as with Chrome, you go like https://www.rarlab.com/download.htm or https://www.7-zip.org/ and download / install stuff. After that, you're pretty much ready to go. Assuming you already have 64 bit Java installed, you just need to rightclick - unpack game into some folder, and you can play it. Pretty much. If scared, use universal its not giving any reactions from antiviral tool. Only difference between them, is WIN having java already preinstalled in self-extracting package, so you dont really have to bother with it, if you can setup Java yourself.

Overall if you cant unpack it, its packing tool issue - we didnt really encrypt project much, so packing tools sometimes strip game files too, taking them as another just package :)

Hmmm do you have integrated video only, or proper videocard? If integrated video, it may sometimes have driver issues with game graphic libs. In that case, driver update may help. Also make sure you use latest Java64.
It should have both .exe and .bat files for you to choose. If your game has no .exe file to run, it means it got messed up by unpacking - try different package tool, like change 7zip to winrar etc.

I had to go to a lower version of openjdk (first remove the previous dependency with $ sudo apt remove [name of the dependencies]).

To fix it, according to the explanation I saw in a forum, I had to remove that line, and the person who posted the explanation also gave this command to automate the process:
$ sudo sed -i -e '/^assistive_technologies=/s/^/#/' /etc/java-8-openjdk/accessibility.properties
After this last edit, I could start the game without issues with ./LinuxLewdMaze.sh
Also, if this last error happens in any other version, just change the number in the part of the command that says java-8-openjdk for the number of the version of the dependency that you are using.
And a tip: if the game starts too big and you can't reach the button to readjust the window, press windows/super key + up arrow, and the game window will adjust to your resolution.

It happens if your unpacking tool messed up. try different software like winrar or 7zip and make sure you use latest version. Basically, some tools can mistake ingame files and launcher for another package, and unpack them again, shredding game files into separate pieces. Happens because we didnt really encrypt game much.

so,not sure what's up but ive accepted quests, gone into the maze, done what i needed to but i dont know how to complete them. like the succubus one with the dark elf, i did that 4 times, tried runnig in a circle forever, beat them all and went up both of the stairs but cant complete it. what am i doing wrong? Otherwise i love the game.
Ah that. I currently made most quests repeatable so people could grab content again if they liked it. Since there is no ingame gallery, for now. Later on they will close properly.

I had some issues with starting the game on Linux (Ubuntu 20.04). In case someone has the same issues as me, here's what I did.
First, I got this error when I tried to run the game after installing the Java depency (openjdk-14-jre-headless):

Technically. Its Java so its universal for most platforms. But we dont have touch-screen support, so you need some kind of mouse emulation.
